London Community Gospel Choir Workshop

From its humble beginnings in 1982, the London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) founded by Rev Bazil Meade has evolved to become Europe’s leading gospel ensemble and one of the most sought-after choirs worldwide. They have crafted a resounding and soulful musical experience that is both memorable and inspirational.

LCGC holds a Guinness World Record and regularly graces many of the world’s greatest events such as International FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury, Live 8, World Aids Festival, Grammy’s and frequently perform at the Royal Albert Hall. The British press have dubbed them “the nation’s favourite choir”, The choir regularly supports charities and global humanitarian causes such as Red Nose Day, Remembrance Day, Cancer Research, Amnesty International, Children in Need and World Aids Day. A momentous occasion for the choir took place in June 2022 when they were invited by Buckingham Palace to sing for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. leading the National Anthem and performing Keep Moving and Sun In The Rain. This historic, momentous and joyous experience was viewed by almost 1 billion people from around the world. Collective national and international credits for exemplary work carried out spanned across film, music and TV.
