Esplanade Academy offers a conducive environment for aspiring individuals and industry professionals to learn, develop and practice professional and technical skills for the performing arts. We aim to be the leading academy for the arts industry by:

Basic Lighting Operations
In this 4-day training programme, participants will learn the theory and practice in relation to working behind the stage in the arts or entertainment industry.

Basic Sound Operations
This 3-day training programme combines theory and practice in relation to working behind the stage in the arts or entertainment industry.

Basic Stage Operations
This 2-day training programme combines theory and practice in relation to working behind the stage in the arts or entertainment industry.

Introduction to Production & Technical Theatre
This 2-day programme provides the knowledge and understanding of working in technical productions in the arts or entertainment industry.

Perform Elementary Stagecraft
This 3-day training programme combines theory and practice in relation to working behind the stage in the arts or entertainment industry.

Sing Out Loud! Workshop for Social Service Professionals
Music has the power to unlock memories, to be a safe place and to offer solace for persons with dementia. Research has shown that music and singing are beneficial to those with dementia, offering a way for them to move beyond the disease and as an important channel of communication when others are challenged.

Specialised Stage Lighting Programme
This four-day programme aims to equip participants with knowledge and understanding of workflow, theory and concepts for lighting console programming.
