Road and carpark closures for National Day Parade Rehearsals 2024
Due to the National Day Parade 2024, Combined Rehearsals and National Education Shows held every Saturday from 15 Jun to 9 Aug 2024, roads around Esplanade will be closed and vehicular access may be restricted. As traffic congestions are expected and may cause significant delays, we advise visitors to arrive with a comfortable lead time and to use public transport. For latest information on road closures, please visit www.ndp.gov.sg.
Access to Esplanade’s Basement Carpark
All entrances to and exits from Esplanade’s Basement Carpark will be closed from 3pm to 12am on 6, 13 & 20 Jul. Vehicles will not be able to enter nor exit from the carpark during this time.
Entrance along Esplanade Drive towards Nicoll Highway and Exit along Connaught Drive towards Stamford Road will be closed Sat, 2am to Sun, 2am.
Entrance and Exit along Esplanade Drive towards Fullerton Road will be closed from 3pm to 12am.
Access to Esplanade Mall Driveway and Taxi Stand
Esplanade Mall Driveway drop-off point (along Raffles Avenue) will also be closed from 3pm to 12am.
You're always welcome. We are open from 6am to 3am every day.
Esplanade's public facilities, PIP's PLAYbox and Visual Arts spaces are open daily. Guided tours are also available for booking.
Check Shops & Restaurants at Esplanade Mall for opening hours specific to any outlet.
Practise good personal hygiene and do stay at home if you’re unwell. Mask-wearing is optional for all events.
Park your worries aside. Spend $30 at Esplanade Mall and enjoy free parking from 12pm – 3pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays).
The tunnel from CityLink Mall to Esplanade is open from 6am – 10pm daily. Refer to Getting Here & Parking for more details.
Catching a show?
Here are some things to note.
Generally, latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has begun. There may be exceptions to this depending on the nature of the performance.
We conduct checks on all bags and items brought into the performance venues for everyone’s safety. You’re encouraged to deposit your bulky items or plastic carriers at baggage carts outside the performance venue so that all audiences can get to their seats easily and quietly.
For safety and security reasons, these are not allowed within the Theatre or Concert Hall. In other performance venues, this is subject to the artists’ consent.
