About the workshop
Girls Style is a vibrant and expressive dance style that celebrates femininity and confidence. It's a fusion of various street dance genres like hip hop and jazz funk, with a focus on sass and attitude. Girls' Style is all about owning your space and radiating charisma. The choreography often reflects themes of empowerment and self-expression.
About Zamrey
Zamrey ignited his dance journey in 2015 at ITE College Central's Urban Central Statement, where hip hop and street jazz became his passion. He joined Dirt Fam in 2017, conquering stages like S24. Street jazz captured his heart—he dived deep, and has been mastering and sharing this joy with others. In 2019, he challenged himself as choreographer for V'Cious at S24, weaving a tapestry of styles as unique as his vision. Now, Girls Style ignites his fire. His classes burst with vibrant energy, infused with his signature twist, inviting everyone to find their own groove.
About Danz People
Danz People makes dance accessible to young people and adults through dance training, arts education and community outreach programmes. Our mission is to create quality dance programmes, provide dance education opportunities to the public, encourage collaboration within the dance community, and speak of the importance of the arts in our lives.
Danz People’s curriculum includes hip hop, jazz and contemporary, catering to children and adults as well as seasoned and novice dancers, with courses for beginners too. A recital is staged annually to allow all students to experience performing in a theatre setting, and to grow in more ways than one.
Danz People is committed to the education of dance through our extensive curriculum and experience; we look forward to sharing our love of dance with you!
