Curated with care by the indie publishing collective Atelier Arcadia and literary arts platform Writing The City, What We Burn For is a breathtaking anthology featuring 25 Singapore-based writers. From quiet heartbreaks to fiery rebellions, these tales illuminate the embers we carry within—igniting what we love, fear, and fight for. 

 

This anthology celebrates the creativity of Singapore writers and is a testament to the power of storytelling in revealing the passions that drive us. After the reading, you're sure to wonder to yourself: what do you burn for?

Atelier Arcadia is an Asia-based indie publishing collective. Starting in 2020, it has been publishing anthologies showcasing the work of Asian creatives, including both writing and art. The collective’s catalogue consists of prose and poetry across various genres, including speculative fiction, fantasy, and more.
