The Singapore Wind Symphony (SWS), founded in 1977 under the National Theatre Trust, was originally known as the National Theatre Symphonic Band (NTSB). In 1992, it was renamed the Singapore Wind Symphony, marking a new chapter of musical excellence. Since then, SWS has earned both local and international recognition, establishing itself as one of Singapore's premier wind ensembles.
