Synopsis

Join us for an evening of short stories, poems, prose and songs presented by Shak’thiya. Reflecting his stream of consciousness, Shak’thiya touches on his journey through life and where he sees himself in the rich tapestry of our shared world.

 

Expect honesty, perspective, some discomfort, awkwardness and ultimately—love.

Going by the stage name of SHAK, Shak’thiya is known for his soulful voice and honest music. His love for writing grew through poetry and he is an avid lover of local initiatives and open-mic sessions. With influences ranging from a fusion of genres—folk, soul, R&B & indie, he explains his journey in life through melancholic lyrics and groovy tunes.
