We tell stories about other worlds to help ourselves reckon with the world we live in now. From myths that grapple with the paradoxes of the human condition, to traditions that provide a form of escape in times of distress, the music on this programme explores the power of music to fire our imaginations and convey salient messages about our times.
Join pianist Abigail Sin and violinist Yang Shuxiang for this thrilling programme of music and storytelling!
Programme
Fauré – Après un rêve (After A Dream) for violin and piano
Szymanowski – Mythes for violin and piano
Debussy – Sonata for violin and piano
