Discover some of Singapore's rising literary talents in this reading organised by Sing Lit Station!
From 7pm - 7.30pm, get to know Jonathan Chan, editor and author of the poetry collection going home, published by Landmark Books in 2022. Afterwards, join author Ng Ziqin from 8pm – 8.30pm as she shares her writing journey and excerpts from her book Every School A Good School, published by Epigram Books in 2022.
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Jonathan Chan
Jonathan Chan is a writer and editor of poems and essays. Born in New York to a Malaysian father and South Korean mother, he was raised in Singapore and educated at Cambridge and Yale Universities. He is the author of the poetry collection going home (Landmark, 2022). He edits, reads, and reviews at PR&TA, The Plentitudes, and Quarterly Literary Review Singapore.
Ng Ziqin
Ng Ziqin is the author of Every School A Good School, which was shortlisted for the Epigram Books Fiction Prize in 2022. She is currently an undergraduate law student at the National University of Singapore. One day, Ziqin hopes to achieve her lifelong dream of writing whodunits from the elegant seclusion of a European cave house.
