Synopsis

Get ready for Absence! as they bring you a night brimming with alternative pop hits. Expect covers of the likes of indie pop band Valley and retro-pop duo joan, as well as some of the band’s own original compositions.

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places.  No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Absence! began as three kids who met in junior college, who discovered their shared taste in music and sense of humour. While much has changed since then, they continue to play and write songs together in their drummer’s humble studio. They have performed indie pop and rock music at various venues, including *SCAPE and Esplanade Concourse. The group continues to explore themes of youth and love through original compositions such as gotta swim and Green Light.
