Yoyo Sham "it’s been a while…"

Hong Kong singer-songwriter Yoyo Sham pursues her profession while regularly shuttling between Hong Kong and Taiwan. With this nomadic music lifestyle, she frequently ponders on the meaning of home, and these musings found their way into her 2022 release Home is…, which saw a Hong Kong concert tour that was attended by more than 10,000 fans.

In 2019, Sham’s album Nothing is Under Control was nominated for Mandarin Female Vocalist of the Year and Album Producer of the Year at the Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan, also selected as Top 10 albums in Freshmusic Awards in Singapore. The following year, she won Best Original Film Song for her song Fly at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Destiny has it that her song Come What May found its way to be chosen as the ending theme for the movie title Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In, honing into the theme that the relationship shared between people and their place transcends time.
