Celebrate the grand finale of the Ding Yi Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2024 with World Reunion, a concert that unites distinguished ensembles from across Asia in a vibrant celebration of Chinese chamber music traditions. This special performance features a unique festival ensemble composed of musicians from the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble (Hong Kong), C-Camerata (Taiwan), “Bows and Strings’ Dance” Erhu (Huqin) Ensemble (China), Singapore Teochew Ensemble, AcceleRUANdo and Hunix Bowed-Strings Ensemble (Malaysia).

 

A highlight of the evening will be Autumn Moon Over the Calm Lake, a classic work originally composed by Cantonese musician Lü Wencheng in the late 1920s, showcasing the delicate beauty of traditional Cantonese music through an innovative quintet arrangement.

 

Join us for this memorable evening as World Reunion bridges traditions, inspires cross-cultural exchange, and concludes the festival with a shared musical journey that transcends borders and generations.
