Theatre for Dreams

A community engagement project that uses applied theatre to encourage vulnerable youth to articulate their goals and how they can realise these goals.

Using drama to express themselves... provides them a safe space to express feelings and thoughts that they usually don’t explore. In fact, very difficult feelings, such as guilt, shame and even love towards their loved one.

Centered on the theme of dreams and aspirations, Theatre for Dreams uses applied theatre to encourage vulnerable youths to articulate their goals and how they can attempt to realise these goals. It aims to provide a platform for youths to create independently and own their process of creation, using drama as a tool for engagement.
