A young girl voluntarily admits herself at the Institute of Mental Health due to suicidal thoughts. She’s seeming well and good in the eyes of the lady cleaner who constantly engages her in conversation.
The young girl learns about the patients around her through the cleaning lady. A doctor who is grieving over his daughter’s suicide turns his attention towards this young girl, seeking answers for his daughter’s predicament. In the end, the young girl who needs help finds herself in an unexpected dilemma.

Grace Kalaiselvi
Grace Kalaiselvi is an independent theatre actor, director, educator and writer. As an alumnus of Intercultural Theatre Institute, she has devised creations in both English and Tamil that are suitable for young audiences, teenagers and adults. Her works include Come Back Home with Polyglot Theatre Australia, The Indigo Jackal and Amma’s Sarees which were previously staged at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.
