Synopsis

Catch the renaissance of the bangsawan (Malay opera) art form brought to life through performances by various teams made up of performers as young as five years old. Witness their captivating renditions of both new and timeless bangsawan pieces, including Bangsawan Burung Bulbul and Bangsawan Nilakesuma. Through the art of song, dance and drama, these talented teams will compete for the coveted Piala Hamid Ahmad at this annual bangsawan competition.
