Born to entertainer parents and a product of Singapore’s celebrated Talentime, Patrick honed his talents in the US. After his first signed recording in Nashville in 1988—which was backed by the highly sought-after Nashville String Machine and notable composer/arranger, the late Lari Goss—he found himself performing with The Billy Graham Crusade, as well as Elvis Presley’s step brother Rick Stanley.
Having spent several years studying music and frequenting the live jazz scene in New Orleans, Patrick slowly moved away from his Gospel roots as his career continued to grow. This saw him performing in the international jazz marketplace, travelling to South and Central America, the Caribbean, UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, the Pacific and across the US. More recently, he has entertained crowds in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, Manila and Singapore. He has entertained in intimate gatherings as well as large stadium settings, including Victoria Theater, Notre Dame Cathedral, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Cologne Cathedral and MalacañangPalace. His versatility also includes numerous appearances with the Hawaii Five-0 television series. Patrick has also released several singles, but his current collection, Love Jazz offers a sneak peek to his continuing studio work.
