The name SATWO (a combination of 'satu' or one in Malay and 'two' in English) itself perfectly interweaves with their trademark union of seamless contrapuntal melodies and harmonies, as established in virtually all of SATWO’s musical compositions.

SATWO, established in 2016, are a Malaysian folk duo comprising Rafiz and Maz.

 

The name SATWO symbolises their partnership as a husband-and-wife musical team.

 

The duo gained recognition for their melancholic single Gelap, which deals with inner struggles and has an accompanying music video that delves deeper into said topic.

 

They are known for their indie-folk style, and their first album, Di Persembunyian, has been well-received for its emotional depth and unique sound.

 

Some of their popular tracks include Untok Kita (Hanya Kita), Cahaya Malam, Betapa Indah and Sepasang Sayap.
