Synopsis
Look forward to hearing beloved and iconic tunes by the Maha Bodhi School Alumni Band (MBSAB), including selections from Kiki’s Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke Medley by Joe Hisaishi.
The band will also be playing vibrant pieces by the renowned groups AKB48 and Yoasobi.

Maha Bodhi School Alumni Band
The Maha Bodhi Alumni Band (MBSAB) was formed in 2005, following a special collaboration between alumni musicians and Mr Quek Boon Hui, the resident conductor of the Maha Bodhi School Symphonic Band (MBSSB). The alumni were invited back to support a combined CD recording project, and the success of this venture inspired the creation of an official alumni band.
Since its inception, MBSAB has been dedicated to supporting the current members of MBSSB by offering guidance, mentorship, and musical collaboration. The band’s mission is to preserve the spirit of music and community among both alumni and current students.
In June 2010, MBSAB held its first biennial concert series, Reminiscence 1, at the Singapore Conference Hall, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The concert not only showcased alumni talent but also served as a platform to continue the legacy of musical excellence nurtured at Maha Bodhi School.

This is a Relaxed Environment (RE) performance. Perfect for anyone who benefits from being able to make a noise, leave and return to their seat or access the toilets during the performance. No modifications are made to the performance.
