In Good Time

Germaine Goh is a Singaporean composer and arranger whose music spans symphonic, chamber, jazz, big band, pop, and Chinese orchestral traditions. Her work is known for its distinctive, cross-genre musical voice and a strong sense of musical character.

Germaine has written for ensembles including the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Ding Yi Music Company, Jazz Association of Singapore Orchestra, Resound Collective, Philharmonic Wind Orchestra, Singapore National Youth Chinese Orchestra, and Singapore Management University Chinese Orchestra.

Alongside concert works, Germaine is active in multidisciplinary collaborations across film, theatre and dance, and currently serves as composer in residence for The Christian Orchestra and The Kueh Tutus.

Award-winning clarinet soloist Ralph Emmanuel Lim is the Principal Clarinetist of Singapore’s Resound Collective, and founder of the award-winning clarinet ensemble CLARQuinet.

Ralph appears frequently as a soloist with Resound Collective, Philharmonic Winds Group and the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra. In 2021, he was regarded as the highlight of the evening when he performed the Brahms Clarinet Quintet with Concordia Quartet.

Ralph is a Buffet Crampon Clarinet Artist and currently plays on a 2021 limited edition Légende in Mopane by Buffet Crampon, 74/85.

Desmond's musical journey began with the St. Patrick's School Military Band, where he discovered his passion for the clarinet. He honed his craft at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, earning a Diploma in Music and later, a BA in Music with Honours on a full scholarship.

A versatile performer, Desmond regularly performs with ensembles such as The Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, re:Sound Chamber Orchestra, Singapore Armed Forces Central Band, and The Philharmonic Winds. His musical theatre credits include Cabaret, The Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, and The LKY Musical.

In addition to his performance career, Desmond shares his expertise as a clarinet teacher at secondary schools, junior colleges and polytechnics, and conducts workshops for Yamaha, Artist Academy and the LASALLE College of the Arts.
