Bukit Batok Chinese Orchestra

Founded in 1994 under the Bukit Batok Community Club, the Bukit Batok Chinese Orchestra (BBCO) brings together musicians and music lovers from diverse backgrounds. Over the years, BBCO has played an active role in Singapore’s arts and community scene, presenting large-scale productions at venues such as the Singapore Conference Hall, alongside regular performances at Bukit Batok community events including Lunar New Year, National Day and Family Days. Today, BBCO continues to champion Chinese orchestral music in the community through accessible and engaging performances, and partnering with Bukit Batok grassroots organisations to create innovative programmes for residents. As a ground-up, self-sustaining orchestra, BBCO is committed to nurturing local musicians and supporting artistic growth.
