Synopsis

Home grown indie rock band Bakers in Space return to the stage three years after their release of their sophomore EP MAGMA to perform brand-new songs from their upcoming album. The new songs feature more vocals and guitars, drawing inspiration from artists such as Wilco, Mac Demarco, The Strokes and more. This marks a departure from the darker, heavier tones of MAGMA, offering an evolved and matured sound reminiscent of their earlier tracks like Autumn and Mute from their 2017 EP Implosions.

Bakers in Space is an indie rock band from Singapore formed in 2016. Led by frontman Eugene Soh, their music spans a diverse amalgamation of genres and influences including rock, indie, reggae, post-rock, ambient and progressive styles. The band's sound has developed from the decade-long friendship and shared love of all kinds of music between Eugene, Ernest Foo on lead guitar, Hafi Zainor on bass guitar and Amirul Hakim on drums.
