Synopsis

Join Replug for a reflective, thought-provoking and high-energy performance that will re-frame the best hits of the 1960s up to today. Capturing the raw essence of youth, as well as their dreams, struggles, and fearless spirit, the performance will feature a dynamic blend of music, storytelling, and visual artistry, that brings the audience on a journey through the soundtrack of growing up. From anthems of rebellion to songs of self-discovery, this performance celebrates the highs and lows of coming of age. With powerful vocals, electrifying instrumentals, and heartfelt lyrics, this show is a tribute to a generation finding their place in the world.

Replug IG is a vibrant interest group from Republic Polytechnic (RP), comprising of versatile musicians dedicated to showcasing their passion for unplugged music. The group performs predominantly acoustic music which highlights the authentic sounds produced by the instruments. The group has performed at many key internal and external events such as RP’s Orientation Programme Jam & Hop, IGNITE! Music Festival’s Tribute Showcase and Reflections Arts Festival Programmes, as well as at SMU Arts Festival as part of Singapore Night Festival 2024.

 

With a diverse group of talented artists skilled in piano, guitar, percussion and vocals, Replug aims to break boundaries and deliver unforgettable musical experiences at every performance.
