Raffles Chinese Orchestra
The Raffles Chinese Orchestra is a joint orchestra that brings together musicians from the Raffles Institution Chinese Orchestra (Y1-6) and the Raffles Girls’ School Chinese Orchestra (RGCO). United by their passion for traditional Chinese music, the Raffles Chinese Orchestra is renowned for its commitment to preserve and innovate the timeless sounds of Chinese orchestral music. The orchestra consistently strives to push the boundaries of traditional Chinese music while maintaining a strong respect for its cultural heritage to foster a deeper understanding of Chinese music’s beauty, complexity, and emotional depth.
