As a full-time girl and a part-time poet, Laura Jane Lee dives into the archives—the intimately personal, but also the collective—simultaneously interpreting and defining the lived experiences of her girlhood. Poems from a Girlhood Archive is a celebration of girlhood as much as it is a vindication. This selection of poetry readings seeks to reflect the various facets of the poet's girlhood with a confessional bent, tracking an arc from the childhood bedroom to the bridal chamber, and from the terrains of grief and exile to the expanses of joy and unmooring.
