He has opened for Grammy award-winning artists including Gregory Porter and Earth, Wind & Fire, as well as Latin Grammy award-winning Omara Portuondo, captivating audiences worldwide with his masterful guitar work. Castillo has performed at the International Guitar Festival, major jazz festivals in Asia and cultural music festivals like Fringe Australia. He has also been a part of acclaimed productions, including Adam Hall and the Cuban Young Guns and Flamenco y Cuba.

Nino Gomez was born in Cartagena, Colombia, and has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning 33 years. His performances transport audiences into the vibrant cultures of South America, and offer a delightful and sophisticated musical experience.
