Come and listen to singer-songwriter and poet, Will Beale, in this intimate set of acoustic songs and poems. Catch a range of folk songs (inspired by Bon Iver and Bright Eyes) off his upcoming EP, Matryoshka, made in collaboration with Singaporean producer, Wovensound, as well as poems that deal with love, loss and laughter.
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Will Beale
Will Beale is a singer-songwriter and poet from Melbourne, Australia. His first poetry book, They Call Us Loud, was published in Malaysia in 2015. His first EP of music, Matryoshka, is coming soon, with singles steadily releasing in collaboration with Singaporean producer Wovensound; including a feature with singer-songwriter aeriqah.
His music is influenced by Bon Iver, Bright Eyes, Phoebe Bridgers and Kevin Devine, and poetically he’s inspired by Saul Williams, Buddy Wakefield, Hanif Abdurraqib and more. These days, he performs in living rooms, intimate open mics and literary festivals around Asia Pacific.
