Synopsis

At the start of the year 2024, Bennett started writing a song for two of his best friends, both of whom were getting married in August. Over the course of the year he wrote draft after draft, the importance of the song holding him back from moving forward. Until he realised his guitar and voice alone were not enough; he needed more layers, and to rise above that he had to sing higher. In 2025, Bennett Bay returns with brand new songs, featuring a bigger sound that embraces the essence of his hopes, dreams and fears.

Bennett Bay is a Singaporean-born musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist whose sound is inspired by the chirping of birds, gusts of wind and the colour of the sky. Since 2015, he has been writing and performing original music, and has released three albums, Compass (2017), In Memory Of (2018), and For Better Tomorrows (2023), as well as an EP titled Little Old Town (2020). His music has taken him to various festivals across the globe, most notably Neon Lights (Singapore, 2015), Electric Picnic (Ireland, 2017) and LUCFest (Taiwan, 2022). In 2025, Bennett intends to release a new full-length album, marking his return to the scene.
