Salam Akhir Syed Azmir

Syed Azmir made his breakthrough in the entertainment industry by finishing as first runner-up in prestigious talent search Anugerah 2005, produced by Mediacorp Suria. His talents flourished under the guidance of Wake The Baby Records.

Mentored by Ajai and managed by Beyond DDB Malaysia—who also represents notable entertainers like Dato’ M Nasir, Ashraf Sinclair and Ferhad—Syed Azmir released his debut album Prosa X.

In 2007, along with the other three finalists of Anugerah 2005, he made history with a sold-out concert at Max Pavilion, becoming the first Malay local artist to achieve this feat.

After taking a long break in 2010, Azmir made a comeback in 2018 with hits song like Tuhan Kirimkan Kamu, Sudikah Kamu, Hello and Ternyata, the latter of which was nominated for Best Theme Song at Pesta Perdana 2023.
