Synopsis

Krysta Joy reminisces about the pre-digital streaming era, recalling how she used to swap music files with friends during primary school using floppy disks in the computer lab.

 

For a special one-night only event, she will be presenting acoustic interpretations of songs by iconic artists like Sugar Ray, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder. She will also be offering a glimpse into her creative process by sharing her own compositions and even tracks that are still currently in production. Join her for an evening of music that has shaped her journey as a musician, and experience firsthand the songs that have inspired her along the way!

Krysta Joy, the soulful singer-songwriter from Singapore, embarked on her musical journey at the age of 8, turning heartfelt sentiments into a lifelong love for songwriting. From school events to Instagram, her authentic connection with audiences and followers fuelled a full-time dedication to music at the age of 17. Mentored by local icons, Vanessa Fernandez and Jack Ho, Krysta clinched the Noise Award, paving the way for her 2019 debut EP, Enjoy the Process. Pandemic-born Saylah Studios, her creative haven, reflects her commitment to nurturing aspiring artists. Beyond her music, she hosts a radio show, champions local music, and engages a global audience on TikTok. In 2024, she refocuses on self-produced tracks, poised to share her soul-stirring creations with a global audience.
