Let crooner extraordinaire Hillary Francis’ captivating voice transport you down memory lane as he performs familiar tunes by crooners of yesteryear.
Hillary Francis
Hillary Francis writes songs purely from his heart, drawing inspiration from people, his surroundings, and greatest of all, his creator. A multilingual multi-instrumentalist, Francis plays the guitar, and drums, and has been an entertainer since 1965. Throughout his career, he has produced a range of charity albums including A Tribute To Mother Teresa, A Dedication To Mother Mary For The New Millennium and Peace. Notably, in 2011, he wrote A Song For Japan to raise funds for the tsunami and earthquake victims. Over the years, he has performed and collaborated with various notable artists and groups such as the Singapore symphony Orchestra and The Sandboys. He has also represented Singapore on the international stage when he participated in the World Popular Song Festival 1978 held in Budokan, Tokyo. One other notable highlight in his career was when he was honoured with a special invitation to perform the song he penned for Mother Teresa at her tomb in the Missionaries of Charity headquarters in Calcutta in 1998.
