Ralph Alvern is a Singaporean singer-songwriter who started out from busking in the streets of Singapore to performing on the same stage with the likes of other amazing local talents like Nathan Hartono, ShiGGa Shay and many more. Learning how to play the guitar at a young age, Ralph found his voice, quite literally, at the age of 16 when his friends told him he had a soothing voice.
Now, at the age of 26, with over 200 original songs under his belt, Ralph is currently working on releasing an EP which will be out late 2024. Drawing inspiration from Kendrick Lamar, Gabe Bondoc, Kehlani, Thuy, Hozier, PJ Morton, Eminem and many more, his debut single titled Over The Phone is a pop-electronic bop with R&B and hip-hop influences and has received over 1,100,000 streams currently.
His latest single from the EP, titled Must Be Nice, along with all his previous singles, has been added to multiple Spotify editorial playlists such as mood., ghosted, don't quarry and more, garnering international attention and earning praise for his unique sound within the Singaporean music scene.
