Synopsis

YAN, also known as Yanni Ruth, is a singer-songwriter, content creator and an active mental health advocate on topics such as eating disorders, and the importance of staying positive. She will be sharing songs—both English and Mandarin—by Singaporean artists who were a big influence on her, as well as her original compositions.

No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

YAN

YAN hopes to inspire and advocate for self-love as and mental health awareness through her songs, aiming to bring love and warmth to all.

 

Since the age of 15, Yanni has had mental health struggles, including an eating disorder, depression and anxiety disorder, navigating them alone during her formative years.

 

Therefore, she wanted to step out and make a difference in the mental health landscape, to shift perspectives and emphasise the importance of mental health in our daily lives. She has since made a difference by sharing her stories and promoting positivity online by creating mental wellness content on her social media platforms.
