From ballads to lively tunes, each song explores themes of heritage, unity and the vibrant culture of our nation, all while simultaneously sharing the tunes that have inspired him along the way.

Shak'thiya, or Shak, is a Singaporean songwriter from Jurong. He believes in the principle of “less is more” and lets the music speak on his behalf. Dabbling in soul and rhythm & blues, he has played numerous shows and festivals both locally and overseas. Someday, he hopes to stop speaking in the third perspective.
