Healing Sounds of Turkish Sufi music

Now residing in both the USA and Türkiye, Latif Bolat has presented concerts and lectures at colleges, universities, performing arts institutions and festivals across the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria, the Philippines, Scotland, Singapore, Indonesia, Türkiye and many other international locations. With a vast repertory that includes classical, folk and Sufi mystic music, he accompanies his singing on the baglama (long-necked lute), and various other traditional instruments from Turkish folk music. After receiving his degree in folklore and music from Gazi University in Ankara, Türkiye, he taught traditional music throughout the country. Mr. Bolat also earned additional degrees in Turkish History and Middle East Religion and Politics from Ankara University, as well as an MBA from San Francisco State University.
