NYE Countdown

The Midnight Suns are a Singapore-based band with musicians from various groups, playing genres such as blues, country, rock, Americana and more. Led by singer-songwriter Shak’thiya (Shak), the band features seasoned sessionists, bassist David Ng, drummer Clarence Ng, and guitarist Khalis Jalil. Its members have a wealth of experience playing at many venues in Singapore, including various Timbre outlets, The Crazy Elephant, Esplanade, SingJazz, The Hard Rock Cafe and many more. Festivals members have played include Singapore National Day, Mediacorp Countdown Show, BeerFest Asia, Singapore Night Festival, Oktoberfest, SHINE Festival and many others.

They will be performing together with Pure Fantasy, a band inspired and influenced by 70s, 80s, and 90s rock music. The band is made up of Tony, Leslie, Kas and Fi and guest performer Boon Kee.

Born from the embers of the unceasing art scene, Roseville Deluxe was formed as a response to the curtailing of live music in 2020. This New Year’s Eve, come join them grooving out to handpicked pop hits from the 90s and 00s, including goodies from Backstreet Boys, Evanescence, Snow Patrol and more!

The Deluxe quintet is fronted by vocal powerhouse NyaLi (Enya Lim), together with formidable crooner peers Ze (Ze Wen Seah) and Sheena Hong. Ze also rocks out on guitar, while Sheena cascades on the keyboards, resting upon the rock-solid foundation of Daryl Loh on drums plus a very special guest legend on bass!

Daniel Sid is a Singaporean multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer who brings a performance that rivals his idols such as Hozier, Passenger and James Bay. With a voice that enchants and captivates people from a mile away, and lyrics that take you on an emotional rollercoaster, there is no doubt that the crowd will love his sound. This multi-instrumentalist vocalist will be on guitar, with his band of talented musicians on drums, bass and keys, and will present a captivating performance, performing a mix of originals such as Starting Again and greener grass and some classic hits that are sure to get the crowd moving.
