Synopsis

Three friends, Marielle, Zi Wei and Kenzo, come together to indulge in a night of revisiting nostalgic ballads from classic movie musicals. Join them as they celebrate iconic films that revelled in breaking into song (just like at least one of these band members!), paying tribute to classics like Funny Girl and modern gems like Into the Woods.

Artist Information

Marielle, Zi Wei and Kenzo

Marielle, Zi Wei and Kenzo met during the university days as members of the NUS Jazz Band. They formed a friendship that lasted over the years and, more importantly, transcending their diverse musical preferences. Marielle is a musical theatre fanatic, Zi Wei is a multi-instrument virtuoso and former Mosaic Jazz Fellow, and Kenzo creates hip-hop beats when he's not accompanying The Sugar Bees, a close-harmony vocal trio that Marielle makes up with two other dear friends.
