Synopsis

Join the Music & Drama Company (MDC) as they mark their 50th anniversary and pay tribute to National Servicemen with a performance of familiar pop tracks and originals. Get ready for an exciting showcase by singers Dominic Chin, RINES and Gail Belmonte, the band, dancers and full-time National Servicemen (NSFs)as they serenade you with a medley of pop hits and captivating original songs.  

 

To celebrate the contributions made by National Servicemen for the nation, MDC will be performing their original pop anthem Warriors and the groovy Lights, Camera, Action.

No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Music & Drama Company (MDC) was first formed in 1973 to strengthen the morale of SAF soldiers through live entertainment. It has come a long way from performing on a makeshift stage formed by three-tonners, to a highly professional company capable of staging multimedia song and dance performances, musicals, music videos, and much more. Even as MDC evolves, it continues with its proud heritage of performing for soldiers, with soldiers. 

 

MDC is proud to say that they are where local talent get discovered. Well-known Singaporean artists like Dick Lee, JJ Lin, Jeremy Monteiro, Najib Ali and Nathan Hartono have all passed through the gates of MDC during their National Service or as they started their professional careers.
