Synopsis

Look forward to a night filled with familiar R&B and soulful chart-toppers. Bringing her own unique sounds on stage is Shai Othman, an up-and-coming local artist who aspires to share her sound with the world. Have a blast jamming to hits from Alicia Keys, Yebba, Fugees, among more familiar artists.

Shai Othman is an aspiring singer-songwriter who started out in 2016 and is a LASALLE alumnus as of 2019. She has participated in several competitions, namely iSing Singapore 2018, Karaoke World Championships (KWC) Singapore 2019 and Suara Wisma Geylang Serai 2.0, in which she emerged as champion for the first two and won second place for the latter. Championing iSing and KWC, Shai went on to represent Singapore in Paris and Japan. 

 

Shai continues her musical journey writing songs and releasing them on Spotify. Her pride and joy is her first single Fighter released in 2018 where she shares about her struggles as a growing artist. 

 

Heavily influenced by R&B and soul, Shai plans to continue writing and sharing her music with the masses.
