Alicia Diva Chandra is a singer-songwriter, composer and aspiring producer. She shares her life story by writing quirky, meaningful lyrics and juxtaposing them with pensive melodies. Her latest EP, Maybe, showcases her versatility in writing music genres, as well as the variety of personas she embodies in each song.

Celebrate the New Year with indie artist, mattgnaw, accompanied by a live band for a showcase of hisdebut album, Cherry Blossoms. This will be the first showcase of his album, which spans from indie pop tracks such as idwbwu and Envy to alternative rock songs like Odyssey.

mattgnaw's music embodies the ideal of authentically being oneself. His vulnerability shines through his music, expressing himself through experimentations with different genres with the aim of distinguishing himself and standing out from the crowd. Born and raised in Singapore, he has made a name for himself over the years through his work with multiple artists, being the frontman of alternative hip-hop crew Hidemen, the “synth guy” in the band Saints Amongst Sinners, and the bassist/vocalist of SOFT BOY.

Performing songs from their debut album, Remember A Stranger, motifs invites you to join them in ringing in the new year with their repertoire of melancholic tunes.

motifs comprises Elspeth Ong (vocals, guitar), JJ Tan (lead guitar), Paul Yuen (bass), Badrul Amin (synth/vocals/guitar) and Jolin Chiam (drums). Citing influences from 90s dream pop/shoegaze and post-punk acts, the band crafts a world of ethereal soundscapes by combining lilting melodies with reverb-drenched nostalgia.

motifs is an alumnus of the Noise Music Mentorship Programme in 2019 as well as the Baybeats Budding Bands Mentorship Programme 2022. They have recently released their debut album, Remember A Stranger, which straddles two themes—fading memories and coping with loss.

Shareefa Aminah, better known as Shazza, began writing songs when she was 11 and hasn’t been able to stop since. The homegrown songstress debuted her hit single Pity Party early this year to acclaim and has gone on to release three more well-received singles. Inspired by ABBA, Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton, Shazza makes full use of the freedom that music offers, aiming toward a discography that speaks to just about anyone. Shazza strives to break boundaries, seeking to bring more representation to the table with her presence in the industry.

Join Thaarmin for an intimate set with an exclusive showcase of unreleased singles from his debut EP, as well as covers of songs from the likes of Coldplay, Mariah Carey and Drake. Audiences will be taken on a journey through Thaarmin’s musical influences and inspirations, with genres spanning from R&B to indie-folk.

Thaarmin is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter who writes music that sounds like what a rainy day feels like. With a range of influences such as Coldplay, Mariah Carey, Phoebe Bridgers and more, expect a myriad of sonic influences with an authentic flair. He aspires to connect with as many people as he can through his music and cultivate relatability and familiarity through his art. Thaarmin has an EP in the works that will be released in the coming year.
