Crosstalk Performance

Cainiao Crosstalk Club is a crosstalk (xiang sheng) performing arts group founded by alumni from local universities, with roots in school comedy clubs from their undergraduate years. Its mission is to promote Chinese language and culture, fuelled by a passion for crosstalk and commitment to supporting charitable causes. Through humour and entertainment, the club aims to showcase the beauty of this traditional art form. Additionally, it strives to foster cultural exchanges between the crosstalk communities of Singapore and China, encouraging greater appreciation and understanding.

Cainiao Crosstalk Club organises performances every two to three months, attracting Chinese-speaking audiences from diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds. Their performances features local themes and elements from Singapore, while staying true to the essence of traditional crosstalk.
