Ann Hussein
Singer, Composer and winner of the 1980 English Talentime (Singapore Broadcasting Corporation), Ann was a member of the popular band GINGERBREAD from the ‘80s until 2002. She recorded a total of six albums in Malay and four compilation albums in English.
On top of being a TV personality, Ann was also a celebrity judge for reality singing competitions and a vocal director for numerous TV productions. She also served as vocal coach for Singapore Idol Season 3.
Ann has been the Musical Director of Universal Studios Singapore since 2010 and is also the Co-Director of Gingerbread Studios.
Sheila De Niro
Sheila is a talented singer and lyricist who has performed across Asia, including shows like Esplanade’s Mosaic Music Festival, Coffee Morning & Afternoon Tea, and Late Nite @ Esplanade. She has collaborated with artists like Dick Lee and written songs for the group Mirai, which were released in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan. Sheila has also recorded for local commercials and music studios, including the theme song for iHappyChild. She regularly judges singing competitions in Asia and has participated in major events like Rampaisari and Swing Singapore, as well as local TV variety shows.
Faridah Ali
Faridah Ali is a warm and affable presence who began her musical journey by singing jingles and providing backup vocals in recording studios. While her favourite genre is jazz standards, she is equally at ease performing pop and ballads.
A passionate lyricist, Faridah has co-written several songs with her late brother, Farid Ali—fondly remembered as “Mr. Gambus,” a renowned jazz guitarist and composer. Known as the “singing psychologist,” Faridah brings the same passion to her work in a social service organisation as she does to staying connected with the music and jazz community.
