Bitty can’t lie. Which is perfect for an artist who tells life like it is, in all its shades of hope and despair.
She listens.
She understands.
She makes anthems for over-thinkers and wallflowers, like herself.
Formerly known as bittymacbeth, Bitty’s made her name as an Indie R&B/Soul artist in the Singapore music scene by combining powerhouse vocals with sophisticated and funky basslines on stage. Her debut concert and album launch was sold out with zero paid marketing.
One and a half years into her time in Boston, she had played the renown live venue The Middle East, and, while traveling to perform at a festival in NYC, received a nomination for a Boston Music Award.
She returned to Singapore to release her self-titled EP in 2021, which was warmly received by new and existing audiences, to the tune of at least 25,000 unique Spotify listeners in its first few months. Bitty became the face of Spotify's Women of Singapore playlist from April - May 2021 and was handpicked for Spotify’s EQUAL playlist, highlighting must-know Singaporean female artists.
Bitty was invited then by Esplanade to launch her EP has part of their iconic Mosaic Music Series, and sold out the show - twice. Media guest Nevermind Magazine wrote glowing reviews of the concert.
On the back of the EP launch, Bitty signed an exclusive publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and a management partnership (which ended on mutually amicable terms). She’s currently working on a double-EP, to be released in two parts: Lost EP (2024) will feature other melancholic and downtempo soul grooves. As an almost antithetical antidote to this will be its other half of upbeat funk anthems, Found, to form the Lost & Found double-EP (2025).
