Comprising 180 youths aged 10 to 21 from more than 60 schools across Singapore, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) inspires young people towards artistic excellence, nurturing them to reach beyond their potential and developing them through rigorous training within a vibrant, supportive and diverse environment. Recognised by the Ministry of Education as a National Project of Excellence, its programme is accessible to talented youth musicians, where they are guided by professional musicians in rehearsals, masterclasses and performances.
