Let’s Dance Jazz

Jazz Inc is a collective founded by jazz educator Sinclair Ang, who specialises in traditional jazz dances like the charleston, authentic solo jazz, and the lindy hop, as well as early jazz music, history, and culture. With over two and a half decades of experience, Sinclair has been teaching and performing internationally in over 20 countries for over a decade and a half. Jazz Inc conducts classes for both adults and children, and its dancers have performed in various media and contexts, including dance documentaries, commercials, talk shows, stage productions, and at festivals like Esplanade’s Jazz in July and da:ns Festival, SMU Arts Festival, as well as for the nation on National Day. Jazz Inc provides a holistic approach to jazz education, including demo-lectures on the history and development of jazz dance and music, and performances featuring traditional swing tunes with the swing dance band The Rhythmakers.
