A chill, relaxed and groovy evening filled with irresistible and captivating selections of bossa nova, samba and slow bossa classics by Brazil musical giants such as Sergio Mendes, Djavan, Chico Buarque, Marcos Valle, and the biggest of them all, Antonio Carlos Jobim. You will not be able to resist shaking and grooving to classics like Aguas De Marco, Serrado and Aquarela Do Brazil!

Filipino- Spanish singer Yvette Atienza, hailed as a “fierce-keeper-of-the-jazz-flame”, began her musical journey in 1986 with popular local pop band Urazea, led by one of Asia’s top drummers, Jimmy Lee. She transitioned to jazz in 1990 and emerged as a trailblazer in many sub-genres within the jazz vocal realm, including vocalese and Latin jazz stylings. With an illustrious career spanning 37 years in Singapore’s music scene, Yvette stands out as one of the most passionate performers of swing jazz, vocal improvisation and vocalese. Her Spanish heritage imbues her natural affinity for and enthusiasm in promoting a diverse repertoire of Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian vocal styles, which flow effortlessly through her veins.
