Jazz Association Singapore Youth Orchestra (JASSYO!)

The Jazz Association Singapore Youth Orchestra (JASSYO!) was established to engage, develop, and nurture young jazz musicians under 35.

The orchestra made its debut at the Lion City Youth Jazz Festival (LCYJF) in 2017. Since then, it has made several public performances including those at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Esplanade, UOB Plaza Atrium and the Eurasian Heritage Gallery. During the pandemic, JASSYO! participated in the Jazz Association (Singapore) (JASS)’ live-streamed events, premiering new tunes in the "JASS@Home" series. Most recently, JASSYO! performed at the Lion City Jazz Festival 2024 - Dizzying Heights with the acclaimed Dizzy Gillespie Band.
