Omniform

Omniform has a special place in Singapore's music scene. Greg Lyons formed the ensemble in 2007 with the purpose of performing his metrically twisted compositions and arrangements regularly at Blu Jaz café. Showcasing the leading edge of the Singapore’s jazz fraternity, Omniform heralded a new sonic entity, and an uncompromising expression to the newly thriving jazz scene at that time.

 

Today, many of the same members still hold firm in their anchoring roles within the ensemble and they continue to hone their skills through Greg's mentoring efforts via his jazz performance programme, Grooveworks.
