Experience the mesmerising jazz interpretations of Burt Bacharach's iconic pop chart hits as presented by the P.L.F. Connection. Dive into a world of creative improvisations and alternate grooves, while retaining the songs’ original charm, essence and integrity. This performance will entail a nostalgic journey filled with freshness, adventure, heartfulness and joy but more importantly, one that celebrates Mr Bacharach’s passion for life and music.

The P.L.F. Connection

The P.L.F. Connection, a tribute band, comprises five free-spirited and passionate musicians—Gabriel Ian (piano), Joanna Lim (alto sax), Ignatius Bong (electric bass), Clarence Ng (drums) and Alexandra Hsieh (vocals). The P.L.F. Connection has performed several concerts including The Aretha Franklin Tribute Series (BeerFest 2017), Tappin’Ella! A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald (Sultan Jazz/ Maduro) and Tappin’Nina! A Nina Simone Tribute (Esplanade’s Jazz In July). 

 

The band has also performed at several venues and platforms including Esplanade’s Jazz In July and Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts, Maduro, Sultan Jazz, Timbre X @Substation, Beerfest, Jazz By The Beach @Sentosa and on Eden Music Livestreams.
