Synopsis

The talented Ibnor Riza, breakout star of the 1984 Bintang RTM singing competition, brings you an evening of soulful Malay music in his first-ever concert at Esplanade! Look forward to a moving performance of his well-known hit ballads such as Mimpi Yang Tak Sudah, Meneka Dalam Kesamaran and more.

Ibnor Riza’s singing career took off after his participation in the Bintang RTM singing competition in 1984. In 1986, he recorded his first album Meneka Dalam Kesamaran and had his first hit song of the same name. Ibnor has worked with a diverse range of composers such as Adam Ahmad, Adnan Abu Hassan, S. Atan, Fauzi Marzuki, Akbar Nawab and Wah Idris, producing 15 albums and a string of hit songs.

 

With a career spanning close to 40 years, Ibnor has expanded his career beyond performing, having been a judge on a reality television competition as we as being a DJ. His latest song, Rindu Selamanya, was recorded and released in 2021.
