Synopsis

This year's festival theme, "Celebrating Cultural Convergence", invites the audience to explore a vibrant fusion of diverse cultural expressions. This includes a reimagination of traditional dance form that was popular in Singapore during the 1970s. The celebration showcases a harmonious blend of traditional and newly created (kreasi baharu) dances, weaving together a tapestry of cultural narratives that embody with the spirit of convergence.

 

Muara Festival is presented by Era Dance Theatre in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay as part of Esplanade’s Pentas series.
